Imaginary Friends

  Well what can I say? His unstableness seems to be a little too random right now so I should fix it... But I'm not sure how.

  Maybe I should insert a page before where he solves the math questions... Pompo chan's shape is changing every page. It's so ridiculous.

  I absolutely can't draw a kitchen or a sink... It's kinda sad to see Mumu call himself slow-minded. But I also need that small detail because I want him to be bilingual. And as a result, he's a little slower to think in English. I haven't made any pages about it, but I can already say he doesn't like speaking Japanese. That's because all of his memories related to it is associated with Laichi and naturally they're all painful.

 version 1 I can't draw their legs well. Also I don't like neither of their expressions on the last panel.  Looking creepy. I absolutely can't relate to Pompo chan these days although he was my self insertion when I first made him. Also all of his positive traits like being jolly and caring don't apply to me so it's getting harder for me to understand him or come up with his lines. But somehow those two just having fun makes me feel a little warm inside. So I wanna continue as far as I can. version 2 version 3

Hey, I made 1.5 pages? today. Gotta fix the 3rd panel as Pompo chan is not supposed to hold the paper there... which I didn't realize until now for some reason. Only in my comic universe can a taco be merged with primary school math homework. Ah yeah I struggle to draw the kitchen. I hate it. fixed

Hey sorry for reposting this page. No changes are made. I just put this one here coz this... chapter? feels more complete with this page. I just now realized there is a huge error in this page so I might edit later. So urm... I actually want them to reappear... (Sorry not sorry.) I couldn't quite think of their personalities. So there will be some changes maybe...  It's such a shame... They deserve their own series. Note (28/7/2025): I now think the mom looks too short. I guess this is it. This is the end! I want them to be happy although I usually like sad endings better. By the way, remember what I said earlier on this blog? I said remember how big Pompo looked compared to Mumu. Here, he looks much bigger than these two below. Well of course the body-to-face ratio is different so that's one reason. Another one is that when you don't see his full body, he looks much bigger than he actually is...

  OH BOY I have to add glitters once again... Hours of dotting drives me nuts.

Honestly, I haven't finished the A30 (one page before these two) intentionally in case I want to change what Mumu suggested at the end of that page. I'm so tentative at this moment. I usually don't change character designs a lot. When I made Pompo chan, I just tried to make him look like a foil to Laichi. It took me a while to get the right color combination of Pompo's daddy's mask. The only thing I knew was that I wanted some hot pink in it. I'm satisfied with the current design but I might change. I guess my biggest problem with these pages is that I'm struggling with the dad as I never got a c...
