I'll just.. go with this idea anyways... I believe this should be tolerated when the overall tone of the comic has become fun and very cartoony. Even the sunflower is offensive tbh.

Terry's design is a more accurate depiction of a tanuki with the facial marking actually resembling a one in real life... I don't have much to say about her. 
Anyway, I love ironic stories. And the dad is full of that.
He's the manliest one but his personal color is pink. He's a rudo, but he's very sweet...
Yeah I guess you get the idea.

I changed the name of the brother. It's now Rodrigo. What does this change do? Well nothing
I thought Ray was too short compared to the rest of his family and I think him having the longest name is actually a good metaphor for his personality.
Boy, he looks evil as hell due to his facial marking... (which can be said to all of his family though.)

Rosita... I wanted to give her blonde hair like her mother but I thought it will stand out too much.


I should redraw Mumu on the last page. Looks uncanny (as always)

So the 3 kids are all based on teenager archetypes: Unsociable nerdy guy, popular (and usually mean, I believe?) cheerleader and closeted jock

I'm so tired idk why but I can hardly focus on coloring. So I'll take a rest from now. Good night.

I love this page. I want this kind of a page sometimes. They have to understand they're different. I also want to contrast Laichi's "absolute control (over the child)" and Pompo's "guiding." When I say guiding, the basic idea is that Mumu can tell Pompo what he feels even when they don't agree. Man, I can't believe his heart is still functioning after eating fried butter. How?  Again the pacing issue is very serious.   I just wanted to draw the rainbow wave. Yay I love this page! It was A NIGHTMARE to color those glittery clothes! A28 Purple up

So this is the last day of their bonding vacation (feels kinda weird. I think it's too short to be called a vacation) Took me a while to find out the right colors of purple for their clothes... I had to make em purple as it's the mixture of their personal colors (red and blue.) I like color symbolism. You have seen it a lot before this page right? Rainbow - Obviously gay but just to indicate they're happy (that's why I say gay instead of lgbt) Oh yeah also used as the symbol of autism. Pink yellow blue - Pan color. Mostly used on Pompo chan's stuff Red/Green - hero/villain black/white - adult/child.  You see this contrast used in their eyes, hands and feet color.

It's a very rare angle for Pompo. I have to come up with a good background for the 3rd cut...  But since I used rainbow as the frame, drawing the sky makes the most sense to me. (That's why I filled it with blue for now.)
